In line with the school’s effort of truly making PCHS and agricultural high school, the Junior High School curriculum will be updated with the introduction of Agriculture as an additional elective in the Technology and Livelihood Education in all four grade levels. This will form part of the school’s application for recognition as an agricultural high school to the Department of Education. Finally, two new strands for senior high school will be opened, namely, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) and Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) strands. This move is also aligned with the school’s vision of being a leading agricultural high school: the Horticulture track handles agricultural production, the Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) and STEM strands deal with post production, product development and innovation, while HUMSS manages the marketing aspect.
The spark ignited by the founders’ vision more than half a century ago has inflamed once more the passion for mission and service among the students, faculty, staff, administrators and trustees, parents, and alumni today. Indeed, Pangantucan Community High School strives to become a leading agricultural high school in south-western Bukidnon by providing holistic formation that respects diversity and exercises fidelity to Catholic, Ignatian tradition.
